Allison is a mom to four boys. Two who are living with Sickle Cell Disease. As a parent, caregiver, and patient advocate, Allison has always had a burning passion to help push the awareness of sickle cell further. Allison believes Sickle cell deserves notoriety because the words "Sickle cell" simply passes through minds of others outside of the community. Sickle Cell Disease is a heavy phrase with a light weight. Until Sickle cell gains a lasting popularity and universal cure. She will continue to raise awareness about Sickle Cell to help make the quality of life for people living with genetic disorder a little easier to navigate.
