Mordy Levine earned a BA from Brandeis University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is the creator of the Medita- tion Pro Series, which teaches meditation for different conditions that affect Western civilization (e.g., stress, insomnia, weight issues, smoking). To date, more than 950,000 people have learned to meditate through his series of meditation programs. Mordy is the president of Jigme Lingpa Center, a nonprofit organization led by Lama Lhanang Rinpoche. The center’s goal is to generate benefit to all beings through the dissemination of the Buddha’s teachings of wisdom and compassion, thereby achieving a sustainable future of peace and harmony for all. He has been practicing yoga and martial arts for forty years. Mordy also holds instructor certifications in karate, tai chi, and yoga. The coauthor of The Tibetan Book of the Dead for Beginners, he lives in Rancho Santa Fe, California, with his wife Elizabeth, their son, and their many dogs.
