Arlene Banks

关于作者

Arlene Banks grew up in rural Wisconsin with six siblings. She attended a small school and enjoyed typical country activities like 4-H, County Fairs, and hunting. When her dad got sick, she joined the Army in 1972 because there weren’t many job options where she lived. Arlene liked being in the Women’s Army Corps, but it got shut down, and she had to switch to the All-Volunteer Army. This change was challenging, but she stuck with it for twenty years. Her upcoming book discusses her challenges and how other women like her dealt with similar struggles. Arlene’s story is about overcoming obstacles and staying strong in difficult times. She wants to honor the women who went through similar experiences and show how determination can help you through challenging situations.
