Shih Lien YAO, known affectionately as Dr. Lotus, has devoted more than ten years to mastering the cultivation of Lotus and Waterlilies. His expertise has beautified gardens across Singapore and reached enthusiasts worldwide, including India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Russia, and Australia. As a passionate advocate for these aquatic plants, Dr. Lotus aims to share his knowledge far and wide, helping others create serene and flourishing Lotus and Waterlilies gardens. He founded the vibrant Facebook community "SG Water Gardening Lovers", a platform for sharing, learning, and celebrating the beauty of water gardens. His first book (Lotus in Bloom) focuses on Lotus, while his second book (Waterlily in Bloom) focuses on Waterlilies.
