Paul’s expertise in Concussion Physiotherapy (Physical Therapy) & Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy (VRT) are the unforeseen outcome of two distinct career paths. Starting in 1985, he practiced as a commercial & residential architect for 9 years. Fascinated with healing long before, he realized he was more interested in people than the bricks & mortar of architectural practice. In 1998, he graduated with honours in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto, Canada. In 2011, he completed VRT training for inner ear issues at Emory University, USA. In 2014, he completed postgraduate training in concussion treatments. Given the subsequent high demand for his services, the last 10 years of his private practice have been focused exclusively on concussion treatment & VRT. 25 years of PT practice later & now nearing retirement, Paul wrote a concussion book for the many, many people with a concussion or Post Concussion Syndrome who have limited or no access to an experienced clinician. This so anyone, with this self-help book, can overcome their concussion symptoms, accelerate their concussion recovery, & have the latest concussion protocols to safely return to school, work, & / or sport. Happily married to his wife, Beth, he lives and works in Toronto. Paul’s main pastimes are gardening, travelling, and an occasional game of tennis.
