Janet Patton

Captain Janet Patton flies jet airliners, taking about three hundred people with her on each trip. She is often asked, "What route do you fly?" And the answer is often, "Texas to London and back." In Riding the Lines: An American's Adventures on the London Underground, Janet combines her passions—travel, curiosity, and technology studies—as she shares the adventures she's had on the London Underground between her flights across "the Pond." Janet resides in Texas. When she's not flying over the Atlantic or "riding the lines," she can often be found among the clouds in a small airplane or a hot air balloon.
