E. Trey Clark, PhD, is an assistant professor at Fuller Theological Seminary and co-founder and director of The Black Contemplative Society. An ordained minister, Trey serves on the pastoral team at his local church and enjoys walking alongside others as a spiritual companion and mentor. He is the author of Black Contemplative Preaching: A Hidden History of Prayer, Proclamation, and Prophetic Witness with Baylor University Press. He lives with his family in Southern California.
