Emily Swisher

Emily Swisher is a licensed psychotherapist specializing in equine interventions and trauma. Her education includes a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Colorado State University and a Master's in Clinical Counseling from Regis University. Additionally, Emily is a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning from PATH International. Her further interest in mind-body responses to trauma prompted her to become trained and certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). With her expertise in trauma and equine interventions, Emily has written several publications and spoken at conferences on trauma informed care in therapeutic riding facilities.
