Kyle J. Anderson grew up in small town Minnesota, population 1,238. He was destined to be a writer and a storyteller, as his mom was a journalist for the local newspaper and dabbles in small projects here and there to this day. Small towns aren't really the place that dreams are made, but Kyle knew from a young age that he wanted more. Being an out and proud gay man at the cusp of adulthood put a large target on his back, and that is where he found his voice. His work is emotionally driven, with characters based on actual people and plots based on true events, with a fictional twist. Kyle has been self-publishing since 2010, with fourteen titles under his belt and growing. His first novel, "Recovery," was a finalist in the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award contest, and he has had a couple of poems published in wide-release collections. He received the Editor's Choice Award for his poem "The Ballad" and titles like "Human Error" and "A Place To Fall" have made appearances on niche market best-seller lists. He keeps dreaming that one day, one of his manuscripts will land on the right desk to change his life and the lives of his loved ones.
