Sarah Thrush is a best-selling author, educator, and the face behind *Preserving with a Purpose*. She is the host of the docuseries *Destination Preservation*, a sought-after public speaker, and a spokesperson for brands like Superb Sealing, All American and Lehman’s. Sarah's mission is to inspire others to embrace self-reliance through food preservation and homesteading. Born in Northwest Indiana near Chicago, Sarah now lives on her 20 acre homestead in Michigan's Upper Peninsula with her husband and children. Sarah enjoys fishing, hunting, camping and eating honey buns. Her journey from farm life to leading the movement in food preservation is fueled by her passion for feeding people and addressing food insecurity.
