Jeff Fisher is the Founder and Executive Director of the Ride The Wave Foundation. Born in 1982, Jeff moved to Parsippany, NJ, in 1986, where he spent his childhood enjoying outdoor activities, the vibrant nightlife of nearby Morristown, and the proximity to beach and snowboarding destinations. Jeff’s early years were marked by a focus on social intelligence rather than academics, a trait that would later prove invaluable. Despite not following the traditional path of graduating high school and going straight to college, Jeff found his footing in the corporate world through retail jobs and a pivotal encounter at Cingular Wireless, which led him to Century Staffing and, eventually, Vitaquest International. Mentored by Mark Stanisi, Jeff decided to pursue further education, earning a degree in project management. In his mid-20s, Jeff’s career trajectory shifted towards entrepreneurship. His journey was not without challenges; roughly twelve years ago, he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, a condition he manages through medication, routine, diet, fitness, and therapy. His resilience and commitment to self-care have been crucial in his personal and professional development. Jeff’s unconventional youth, marked by partying and experimenting with drugs, significantly shaped his character. Despite minor misdemeanors and close encounters with more dangerous paths, Jeff focused on personal growth, leadership, and self-discovery. He obtained a leadership certificate from Cornell University and embraced servant and positive leadership concepts. Today, Jeff is a confident public speaker and successful entrepreneur. His foundation, Ride The Wave, reflects his dedication to helping others navigate life’s challenges with the same determination and resilience that have defined his journey. Jeff’s story is about perseverance, empathy, and continuous personal improvement.
