One of the questions I get asked most often nowadays is where the best place I've traveled to is. If I had to give just one answer, it would be Australia. With a passion for wildlife and animal encounters, there are only a handful of other countries that can compete with the animal experiences that Australia has to offer. As an added bonus, the food is first-class and the country is surrounded by coastline and pristine beaches. I love being asked what my favorite locations and things to do are. These places and experiences normally hold some of my best life memories. Being able to be continually reminded of those moments and who I share them with, really keeps my life at peace. Though most of my time today is spent running the day to day operations of my travel company, I keep to my mission of getting the best value for the travelers I still advise for. I believe it is important for travel advisors to remember how big of a difference you can make in people’s lives in this profession. Normally, people will travel with those closest to them during their time away from work to rest, recover, explore, and decompress together. These periods of time are usually a person’s most valued moments each year, thus the significant impact that can be made.
