Vaiśeṣika Dasa is a renowned spiritual guide, known for his writings and lectures in which he gives practical advice about how to live a balanced life. He has been studying the Bhagavad-gita and the process of bhakti yoga for most of his life. As a teen, he was an avid spiritual seeker, and in 1973, at the age of sixteen, with his parents’ blessings, he left high school to become a full-time monk dedicated to the practice of bhakti yoga and began his tutelage under his spiritual teacher, Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. After thirteen years living in ashramas, Vaiśeṣika transitioned to married life, wedding Nirakula Devi Dasi, also a disciple of Srila Prabhupada and a serious bhakti yoga practitioner. Together they have developed successful businesses and preside over a bhakti community of over four hundred families in northern California (ISKCON of Silicon Valley). Vaiśeṣika travels worldwide sharing the knowledge he’s gained from five decades of bhakti yoga practice integrated with his university studies, interactions with people from various cultures, and his calling as an entrepreneur. Speaking to youth groups and to audiences in corporations, universities, and nonprofits, he teaches universal principles of personal spiritual development and is recognized for making ancient yoga philosophy accessible and practical.
