Lillian Whitmore

Lillian Whitmore grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii, where she volunteered at a senior care facility during high school. Her draw to the senior community is inspired by her time with her grandma. Their favorite activity together was reading books out loud. Her grandma believed it would help Lillian with pronunciation and public speaking, and it helped keep her grandma's mind sharp by exploring topics she might not have chosen otherwise. Lillian now lives in Phoenix, Arizona, and after a career in communications, she wants to use her copywriting skills to write meaningful books to promote connection and community. Outside her literary pursuits, Lillian enjoys life's simple pleasures, such as spending time at home with her pugs, attempting to grow sprouts and other vegetables, and hunting for new books on her Kindle.
