Carmen Loup is a non-binary humorologist, illustrator of "Tarot in Space'', and creator of "The Audacity” sci-fi novel and comic book series. They've been writing seriously since 2007 and funnily since 2015. Loup grew up on Monty Python, Douglas Adams, and Red Dwarf, overshot, and then grew young on Alan Watts, Suzuki, and the Tao te Ching. They write psychedelic speculative fiction with a hopeful spin that shines through even ridiculously horrible situations.
Loup’s mission is to write a literary antidepressant, a book which inspires readers to see life through a different, more enticing lens and think with more ease and lightheartedness. They seek to appetize readers to life again, like one of those strange little palate cleansers they serve between courses at expensive restaurants. Loup wishes to humbly propose that life doesn’t suck. Or, at least, that it only sucks in waves.
