Hennessey, born Argenis Moscoso in Venezuela, moved to Spanish Harlem, New York, during his youth. Life's challenges led to a federal case and a 40-year prison sentence, of which he has served 20 years. Within prison walls, Hennessey earned his GED and discovered a passion for writing, encouraged by a friend and fueled by long periods in solitary confinement.
He writes realistic fiction inspired by real-life events, often mistaken for urban novels but offering a deeper, more nuanced perspective. His debut novel, "Neglected," is available on Amazon and reflects his commitment to sharing authentic stories from his unique vantage point.
Proficient in SAP and interested in logistics, Hennessey plans to continue his education and career post-release. Through his work, he aims to inspire others and demonstrate the transformative power of storytelling.
