The author, better known on YouTube as “Garage Guy .30-06”, has designed and built dozens of elegant homemade firearms from his garage. The designer’s books cover his journey building several different firearm projects, including bolt actions and semi-automatics. Using a metal lathe and a benchtop end mill he creates firearms from raw steel, barrel blanks and a few commercial parts. The designs are covered in detail along with the tools, techniques and mathematics that go with each gun.
