Troy Valencia is a modern-day Indigenous scholar-practitioner and esteemed teacher of Soteriology and Spirituality. Raised in the foster system, he overcame adversity through a collegiate basketball scholarship, majoring in Biology and Chemistry, and pursued graduate education in Analytical Chemistry. His passion for the human experience led him to attain a Master's in East-West Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, and he is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (PsyD).
Deeply connected to his Central African roots, Troy is a two-time initiate of the Bwiti tradition and a sacred medicine holder. His unique writing style and ability to articulate complex transcendental tenets focus on liberation from suffering rooted in the human mind.
Troy holds group retreats and workshops, both domestic and international, living the path of karma-yoga or selfless service.
