Joni Harper

Joni Harper began riding horses almost as soon as she could walk and started her competitive horse riding career aged six years old. She was a keen member of the Pony Club and as an adult rode successfully for many years in British Eventing competitions. She's been a Pony Club instructor in the UK, a Riding Counsellor in the USA, and has mucked out more stables than she can possibly count. She also trained as a horse whisperer. Joni has an MA in Creative Writing and loves to write about horses, the countryside and the goings on in rural communities.
