Richard Leisenring

Richard Leisenring, Jr. served as curator and historian at the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum in Hammondsport, New York for twenty years until his retirement in 2023. He now serves as curator emeritus for the museum. He has been a professional historian and museum specialist for over 45 years. Leisenring's other interests include research and collecting Civil War memorabilia, early photography, movie memorabilia, and Hopi Kachina figures. He lives in Bath, New York in the heart of the Finger Lakes with his wife and three cats.
