Jalal Bouhdada is the founder of Applied Risk, a leading Industrial Cybersecurity firm. With a passion for innovation and security, he has successfully led complex Industrial Control Systems (ICS) cybersecurity projects for numerous global clients, including some of the world’s largest industrial companies and utilities.
Recognized as a global thought leader in ICS security and critical infrastructure protection, Jalal actively contributes to various professional security organizations. He has co-authored OT Security Best Practice guidelines for key institutions, including ISA, ENISA and the World Economic Forum (WEF). Jalal also serves on the board of the European Energy Information Sharing and Analysis Center (EE-ISAC) and is a frequent speaker at private and public forums worldwide.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Applied Science in Amsterdam, along with numerous industry-recognized certifications such as GICSP, GPEN, GCIH, CISSP, CISA, and CISM.
