Debbie Abu-El-Jibien, originally from Oklahoma, studied music at the local university, where she met her husband. Together, they have raised three wonderful children and are now proud grandparents to Sarah, Belal, Lillyana, and Elyanna. After relocating to Kuwait, Debbie enjoyed a fulfilling 38-year career in Human Resources, specializing in Management and Leadership Development. Her work included writing employee handbooks, creating selling skills workbooks, and designing impactful workshops. A lifelong reader with a passion for books, Debbie always dreamed of writing. In 2024, she turned that dream into reality with her debut book, inspired by her desire to help her youngest granddaughter understand the loss of her baby sister. With her daughter’s suggestion of the title "Hey Nana, Where Is My Baby Sister?" Debbie's idea blossomed into a series of children’s books featuring the adventures of Nana and her grandchildren. She is thrilled to embark on this literary journey with her family, friends, and readers.
