Kessa draws inspiration from her vibrant and zesty 4-year-old daughter - Clara Joy. She loves to explore and discover new books with her daughter and has never gotten too old to enjoy picture books. Kessa is a teacher and loves working with children. They are the most honest, compassionate, and curious creatures and she feels privileged to be a part of their lives. She lives in Washington State with her husband, daughter, and their sweet dog. She hopes to share her love of color, imagination, and connection in her books.
