Scott Randy Gerber is an American businessman, educator, and author residing in the vibrant Tampa Bay area of Florida. Born and raised in the picturesque State of Michigan, Scott spent the majority of his life in mid-Michigan, where he developed a diverse career across multiple industries. Scott's professional journey has spanned several fields, with a significant portion dedicated to Emergency Medical Services. He made notable contributions in this field, particularly during his tenure as Vice President of Mobile Medical Response, Inc. In 2002, he was honored with a United States Congressional Tribute for his efforts in enhancing rural emergency medical services. His work included establishing Automated External Defibrillators and education programs for rural school districts, fire first responder units, and police departments across Michigan. In 2020, yearning for a break from Michigan’s harsh winters, Scott relocated to Florida. After living in the Orlando area, he eventually settled in the Tampa Bay region, where he has embraced the new opportunities and lifestyle the Sunshine State offers. His passions include writing, photography, kayaking, sailing, and cooking—hobbies that enrich his personal life and provide creative outlets. Scott's family life has been marked by both joy and sorrow. He had two children; his son, who tragically lost a brave battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of 12, and his daughter, who is now thriving in the banking industry in Michigan. Scott also cherishes his role as a grandfather to his daughter’s son Winston. Despite the personal and professional challenges, Scott remains actively involved in investing and managing his family-run holding company, headquartered near Detroit. Since moving to Florida, he has delved into writing, working on two books, and has ventured into the podcast industry as the current producer and co-host of the program The Tipping Point Tampa Bay. He also writes for three blogs, Whispers of the Soul, The Traveling Day Trader, and The Tipping Point Tampa Bay. Scott’s life reflects a rich tapestry of experiences and accomplishments, from his significant contributions to emergency medical services to his ongoing pursuits in writing and podcasting. His story is one of dedication, resilience, and a passion for both his professional and personal interests.
