Richard Howe grew up in a small town in Missouri, raised two daughters with his wife, Sue, retired from a consulting career in information technology, took up a second career in photography, and has written a book featuring stories from his lawyer dad and teacher mom. He has been honing his writing skills since college, mostly through technical writing during his consulting career.
Richard collected many memories as his kids and grandkids grew up, as well as stories from his dad about his legal career. He blended several of those stories together, and with some tough love from friends, family, and a very good editor named JR Le Fey, they turned into a pretty good tale in his book, Lawyering in a Small Town.
