Hi ! I'm Sasha Persaud. I was born in Georgetown Guyana, and I came to Canada at the age of 4. Growing up as an Indo-Caribbean in such a diverse country like Canada was an eye-opening experience, yet I noticed that a few people knew much about Guyana. Last year, I began my journey as a self-published author, and I'm passionate about sharing tales that explore the rich culture and history of Guyana with young readers.
