R S Longwaite

R S Longwaite is an artist, illustrator, and writer living near the shores of Lake Michigan.

Having spent the majority of her adult life, teaching ballet, she and her husband and beloved parrot Kiwi now live quietly beneath ivy, covered trees near the shores of Lake Michigan.

Because of her love for music and movement and all things magical, she has chosen to write and illustrate books intended to spark the imagination of young and old alike.
