Writing children's books is for the sole purpose of creating wonder and joy, lighting up another's day. Letitia is a Early Childhood Teacher that goes to daycare centers around her hometown in New Zealand. Her passion she eventually learned was reading stories to children. To settle or cheer them up, making a child's day by making them feel calm after getting dropped off at school sad to leave their parents. Mat times were about captivating them with a good story and good humor that could light up the class. Enjoying the conversation starters as well as thoughts they would share. She loves reading to children who love to listen to them and discovered that a good story has the magnificent power to captivate an audience whatever genre that may be. From the greatest stories by story tellers such as Dr Seuss, Joy Cowley, Magret Mahy and many more. Storytelling using poetry, art and humor truly has the ability to spark the mind, make you laugh and even have long lasting memories. It can provide meaning, provoke thought within the curious minded and the ability to touch others in a way that can connect people wherever you go. Whether humorous, meaningful, poetic or creative a heartfelt story is the universal language of the soul which can resonate with all ages, both ageless as well as timeless.
