Andrea Tait is a licensed physical therapist for children with special needs, a girls’ tennis coach, a wellness coordinator, a holistic health and wellness coach, and a life coach for teens and adults. She is a contract writer for a wellness company, has a column for a newspaper, and is a motivational public speaker for teachers, parents, and teens. She is the owner of Thrive Wellness.
She is also the mother of an amazing 20-year-old daughter who she considers her BFF, as they have gone through “hell and back” together. Andrea regards raising her daughter as the most joyful and meaningful experience of her life. Teaching other
moms to parent “consciously,” so they too can have phenomenal relationships with their teens, is one of her true callings.
Andrea has had her own set of personal tragedies, which she has faced with humor, tenacity, and grit, following which she has labeled herself as an expert on “falling down and getting back up stronger.”
The tenets she lives by are this: “Change your mindset, change your energy, change your life,” and, “Self-care is not selfish.” Her purpose and mission is to help others find the spark within themselves to get empowered and thrive. To show people the value of having a positive mindset, focusing on gratitude, choosing joy, and caring for your mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical health is a necessity for overall well-being. This includes improved job satisfaction, positive personal and professional relationships, and increased overall quality of life. This is her blueprint for living a THRIVING life.
She loves connecting with God in nature, being near the water, and swimming with dolphins. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, significant other, family, friends, her cats Leo and Chichi, and her dog, Ozzie. As a 50-year-old who never wanted to be on social media, Andrea finds posting about teen wellness and parenting on Instagram surprisingly fun!
