Brian is the author of several books, including Leading from Afar: A Guide to Virtual School Leadership and Success, a practical resource for those managing virtual schools, and Screens and Souls: Uplifting Stories for Online Teachers, a collection of inspiring stories for educators working remotely.

A passionate storyteller, Brian also explores other interests in his writing. His work Voices of Chicago: The History and Impact of Sports Radio reflects his long-standing love for sports radio, and his upcoming project, Once Upon a Fandom: Disney’s Hidden Subcultures and Fan Groups, dives deep into the unique communities that make up the Disney fan experience.
