Sally M. Pacholok, RN

关于作者

Sally Pacholok, also known as "B-12 Sally," has been researching vitamin B-12 deficiency and practicing emergency nursing for over 30 years. She has appeared in two documentaries, and coauthored three books about B-12 deficiency, published by Quill Driver Books. Her book "Could It be B-12?" has been translated into several other languages. In 2015, an 87-minute feature film titled "Sally Pacholok," by Elissa Leonard Productions, was made about Pacholok's lifelong battle to improve healthcare. It won the best feature film award at the 2015 D.C. Independent Film Festival. Pacholok has been a frequent radio guest on nationally syndicated talk shows and has been interviewed by numerous print media. She has also written articles for "Pharmacy Times" and the journal of "Nursing." Sally was nominated for the 2016 Nightingale Awards for Nursing Excellence and was the 2016 keynote speaker at the Girl Scouts' 100-year anniversary celebration in southeastern Michigan. Sally has recently focused her writing about health and wellness for children in a fun and entertaining way and gently intertwines math in her storyline. This book introduces "B-12 Sally," and is the first in a planned series. Pacholok illustrated this book herself, and, yes, she is indeed very fond of pigs. Visit B12Awarness.org
