Ashley Nixon

“Dr. A. N. Nixon writes fiction. Her debut, Alberta Leads the Farm, was recently published in 2024. She is the creator and writer behind Children's Career & Technical Education Station children's books. After earning her doctorate, she identified a need to address her research findings and the existing gaps within career and technical education (CTE). She has committed herself to further exploration and advocacy through increasing awareness of CTE earlier in education and books. She is an educator, researcher, author, and advocate for CTE. Her work extends the importance of CTE in efforts to bring more awareness to essential careers that do not have to require a four-year degree and close the skills gap in vocational fields.

Dr. Ashley Nixon is still at the start of a promising literary career, having very recently published two children's books. The variety of activities she highlights in her biography illustrates a writer actively engaged in numerous pursuits.
