We are Volker and Naraleska.
Volker Böhm is a passionate missionary, adventurer, and devoted father of five. Born and raised in Germany’s Black Forest, Volker’s journey of faith has taken him across continents, from the depths of the Amazon jungle to the islands of the Caribbean. Together with his wife, Naraleska, and their children, Volker has dedicated his life to bringing the message of hope, healing, and reconciliation to communities around the world.
For over two decades, the Böhm family has followed God's call, living by faith and embracing divine purpose in some of the world's most spiritually and economically challenged regions. Their adventures have not only transformed the lives of those they serve but have also strengthened their own bond as a family, united by a shared mission.
Volker’s story is one of trust in God's provision, resilience in the face of adversity, and a deep commitment to spreading the love of Jesus to the ends of the earth. His book "Bananas for Jesus" is his testimony to the wonders that await when we dare to follow God's call, no matter where it leads.
Naraleska is not only the loving wife and partner of Volker, but also an integral force behind their family’s missionary journey. Originally from Venezuela, Naraleska's deep faith and passion for serving others have been instrumental in the couple's shared mission to bring hope, healing, and the message of God's love to communities across the world.
Her strength, resilience, and unwavering trust in God have guided her family through both the highs and lows of their adventures, from the depths of the Amazon jungle to the farthest reaches of the Caribbean. Naraleska's role as a mother of five, spiritual leader, and active participant in their work with different initiatives around the world has shaped not just their ministry, but also their life as a family deeply connected by faith and purpose.
