EDY ARELLANO EL GAVILAN With over thirty years in the arts, the author of The Pilgrimage of the Departed has a strong background in theater, film, and literature. He studied at American University in Washington, D.C., the Actor’s Studio in New York, and UNAM in Mexico, specializing in playwriting with Hugo Argüelles. He has been awarded for his work as a director, actor, musician, and playwright. His work spans screenplays, plays, and musical compositions for renowned publishers, with The Black Circle receiving a nomination for the Pantalla de Cristal award. Since 2017, he has shared his unique perspective on La Jaula del Gavilán, his YouTube program, and he is currently developing six novels and a collection of self-help series Get Your Crap Out of the Closet, a frank and humorous approach to tackling the personal struggles we all carry inside."
