TARA M. SIMS is an award-winning administrative leader, executive support expert, and the founder of Evolved Assistant, a boutique virtual assistant agency. Originally from New Orleans and now thriving in Atlanta, Tara is passionate about fostering the success of executives, business owners, and the administrative professionals who support them.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Denison University, Tara’s journey began in college recruitment as Assistant Director of Admissions. Over the course of a remarkable 20-year career, she has become a dynamic problem solver and strategic partner to C-suite leaders and senior professionals within Fortune 500 companies. Her expertise encompasses traditional administrative functions, leadership, team building, and coaching, making her a sought-after advisor for building successful, collaborative relationships.
Tara’s adaptability to changing business landscapes and her ability to navigate diverse workplace cultures have earned her recognition, including the prestigious 2021 Admin Awards Leadership Award. She has shared her insights as a featured guest on The Leader Assistant Podcast, The EA Campus Podcast, and at the World 50 Executive Administration Program.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Tara enjoys HIIT workouts, exploring Georgia’s scenic trails, traveling, and savoring great meals with family and friends. A licensed cosmetologist and a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Tara also serves on the Speakers Bureau for the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research.
