Allen Woodman is a notable figure known for his contributions to martial arts and literature. As a martial artist, he has trained in various disciplines, Living and training in Asia for more than 23 years. He has trained directly with notable great masters in various arts such as Ryuichi Sato in Shotokan Karate, Mas Oyama of Kyokushin, Karate, Morio Higonna of Goju Ryu Karate, Jhoon Rhee (The Father of American Tae Kwon Do), Masters of the Philippine Systems of combat Ramiro Estalilla, Dan Inosanto, Leo Giron, Cacoy Canete and Ben Largusa. Woodman has travelled to Hong Kong and trained directly with Yip Chun (Son of Legendary Yip Man and teacher to Bruce Lee). Allen often emphasizes the philosophical and practical aspects of martial arts.
