Jay R. Swanson

Jay R. Swanson is a writer and nurse practitioner working in New York City. His published work includes a narrative non-fiction, a book chapter in an instructional handbook, several white papers and published research articles for which he was the lead investigator. With two decades of nursing experience caring for individuals with cancer, Jay has witnessed the triumphs and tragedies of what it means to be a human. He uses writing to escape the realities of his world; crafting spaces where justice doesn’t always mean a happy ending, but where love always wins. Jay lives with his spouse happily ever after in Manhattan.
