Cedric Henderson

I'm Cedric Henderson from Shreveport Louisiana. I started writing when I was twelve years old when I first read Maya Angelou's I Know Why The Cage Bird Sings. I love how descriptive and detailed her poems and short stories were. I was also inspired by Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe, Langston Hughes, Tupac Shakur, and Nikki Giovanna. I love writing poems and short stories because it is therapeutic and it's a great outlet to express in words.
