Creating Art for Little Hearts 💟
Growing up with crayons always in hand, I never imagined my childhood passion would become my life's work. But motherhood has a way of rekindling dormant dreams in the most unexpected ways.
Long story short, I am the Mom of three – one princess, one mermaid, and a dragon)) They are the reason I am at home and a reason to create something children will really enjoy. My kids are the best critics (or the toughest))) I ever had. 😅
Now, fifteen books later, I still test every new design with them. They've grown into talented artists themselves and sometimes even contribute their own ideas to my books. Emma, now ten, recently suggested adding positive affirmations to my princess, mermaid, and unicorn coloring series and checking all the lines to be accurate. At the same time, eight-year-old Jake helps ensure my dragon drawings are "scientifically accurate" (as accurate as friendly dragons can be 🤔). And five-year-old Lucy remains my primary quality control, making sure every page is "fun enough." 🎉
So, be sure everything is checked in our books and has three keys – cute, accurate and fun! 😍👌🏼🎈
The best reward isn't the sales numbers or good reviews - it's the photos parents send me of proud little artists showing off their colored versions of my drawings. 📷🖼
Enjoy❣
