Born in Brooklyn, NY to a Jamaican father and Bahamian mother, Ayana Brown is the eldest of 3. Major tribulations in her life prompted her to join the Navy in 1999. She qualified for the Nuclear Power program and finished it as the only black female in her graduating class.
She managed to complete her enlistment and left the Navy with her son and major trauma.
Her resourcefulness has earned her the moniker of "Military Concierge". In 2021, she started REACH Peer Support Services helping people worldwide find resources for themselves and their families.
In 2023, a call from her Mother's doctor changed the trajectory of her life. Now she shares what she is learning in real-time as a long-distance Caregiver on podcasts, Employee Resource Groups, and with clients.
An LPC-A, Certified Mental Health Peer Specialist, Brainspotting Practitioner, NLP Coach, and Anger Management Specialist, Ayana serves the community as a Professional Speaker, podcast cohost, writer, and social media influencer.
She enjoys nature, music, travel, video games, comic books, and stand-up comedy. Ayana enjoys empty-nester life and is loved by her husband and cat.
