Cuong Quy ("CQ") Huynh is the co-founder of the Enlightened Initiative and Rende Progress Capital, two non-profits dedicated to supporting underserved youth and entrepreneurs. He authored *God's Crucible: We Who Dream of a Better Life - Stories of Hope by Refugee and Immigrant Youth* in 2019. Cuong holds a law degree from UC San Francisco and a master’s in public policy from the University of Chicago, where he was a Thurgood Marshall and Woodrow Wilson Fellow, respectively.
A 2024 Make Startups Executive Fellow and UCLA Bruin Business 100 Honoree, he also published an article on minority and immigrant entrepreneurs in *Policy Options* in May 2023. In October 2023, Cuong received the National Minority Enterprise Development Week "Access to Capital Award" from the U.S. Department of Commerce for his work in expanding financial opportunities for minority and immigrant entrepreneurs.
