Rosy’s financial journey began at 16 when she moved out, paying bills, finishing high school, and heading off to university—where she, like many students, relied on loans to make ends meet. While living on student loans, she made some poor spending decisions, prioritizing wants over needs, and found herself deep in debt. But when the bill came due after graduation, Rosy made a life-changing decision: it had taken her 4.5 years to get into debt, so she resolved that it would take her 4.5 years to get out. And she did. Throughout that journey, Rosy didn’t sacrifice her dreams. While paying off her loans, she bought a Harley, put 10% down on a condo, and purchased a piece of waterfront land from family. Since then, she has bought her dream home, secured rental properties to provide families with safe spaces to live, and achieved her most coveted goal—mortgage freedom. Along the way, she travelled solo to Ireland, celebrated a destination Christmas with family, and supported her family in their passions, like BMX racing. Rosy’s philosophy centers on the belief that you can live fully while paying down debt and saving for the future. Her “one-two punch” method of focusing on debt and dreams simultaneously has allowed her to live a rich life while building generational wealth.
