Anne Helen Toomey

Anne is an Associate Professor of Environmental Studies and Science at Pace University in New York City, and her research focuses on developing creative ways of using scientific research to help solve real-world problems. Her work has appeared in environmental science journals such as Conservation Letters, Biological Conservation, and Ambio, and she is the author of Science with Impact: How to Engage People, Change Practice, and Influence Policy. Anne is also co-founder and executive director of Participatory Science Solutions LLC, a social impact research consulting company that supports the collaborative decision-making of organizations, communities, and governments through participatory science, robust research methods, engagement, and communication.
