Hans-Werner Kaas is a senior partner emeritus at McKinsey & Company. He joined McKinsey's Frankfurt office in 1991, moved to the Cleveland office in 1997, and co-founded the Detroit office in 1998. He led the Automotive Practice and was a co-leader of the Advanced Industries Practice. He served clients internationally in the automotive, electronics/software, machinery, and aerospace & defense industries on strategy, performance transformations, organizational performance management, and leadership/talent development. He continues to serve as the co-dean of McKinsey's CEO leadership program, the Bower Forum.
Additionally, Hans-Werner works as an investor with focus on private equity and start-ups. As an executive coach, he continues to counsel and work with CEOs and senior leaders across multiple industry sectors globally.
