Rachel Gates is a writer, entrepreneur, and life-long Francophile. She spends her time writing historical fiction set in France and England, planning trips to Europe (both real and aspirational), and curating vintage fashion. An avid reader of Regency and Georgian-era fiction for nearly 25 years, she has a thorough understanding of the genre and its nuances, a love for witty dialogue and flawed heroes, and a desire to tell relevant, new stories that are at once fresh and timeless. Rachel lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee with her husband, two boys, and Murphy the big red dog.
