Stephanie Korkis Sughrue

I am an American-Assyrian instructional designer and creative residing in California. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Business and graduated as a 4.0 honor student. I am thrilled to share my latest creation, “50 Words in Assyrian and English.” This book holds a special place in my heart, as it was created during a significant chapter of my life—my pregnancy. As I eagerly awaited the arrival of my son, who is a beautiful blend of Assyrian and English/Scandinavian heritage, I realized the importance of connecting him to his Assyrian roots through language. However, my search for Assyrian educational resources came up empty with simple terms in English and Assyrian, sparking a flame of inspiration within me. I decided to take matters into my own hands and create what I was searching for.
