Angella De La Vega was born in Lima, Peru, and grew up in the great state of New York, where her passion for storytelling and creativity blossomed. She now resides in the Northeastern region of the United States with her family, where she continues to pursue her love of teaching and writing.

With a major in English Literature, Angella has always been captivated by the power of words to inspire and connect. She combines this passion with her deep appreciation for history and travel, weaving these elements into her work to spark curiosity and imagination in young minds.

As an experienced educator, Angella brings the vibrant energy of her classroom into her books. She is also the author and illustrator of several children’s books, a journey that began in her childhood when she loved reading and creating messy, colorful drawings. She is delighted to still be doing both, sharing her joy for learning and creativity with children everywhere.
