Jhiela Mirdamadi Poynter is a very busy, very tired (but also very clever) mom who has been collecting (stealing) story ideas from her children for years. The VERY Important Question Series is her way of using her children's creative ideas to convince them to go to bed (like I said, clever).

Every parent knows that bedtime means one more drink of water, a different blanket, a VERY important question that can't possibly wait until morning... But by engaging her children, embracing that curiosity, encouraging their creative thoughts, and exploring big questions with them (rather than hiding under her covers, hoping they would get bored and fall asleep), Jhiela learned that the quest to find sleep didn't have to be a struggle... it could even be fun. Haunted by the guilt of keeping this invaluable information to herself, she decided to share it with other very tired moms with her fun and whimsical series of bedtime stories.

When she isn't wrangling children and drinking copious amounts of coffee, Jhiela spends her free time with a full-time job in the legal field.
