Megan Pomper

Megan Pomper is a Canadian children's author. She grew up in both Kitimat, BC and Kirkland, Que, before moving to Vancouver Island, BC as a teenager. When not writing or teaching, Megan enjoys exploring the island with her family. WHAT MAKES A BIRD? (illustrated by Maia Hoekstra and published by Owlkids Books) is her debut picture book. Megan loves writing for children and hopes her stories make them feel smart, inspired, and happy.
