Kevin W. Hartman has dedicated over a decade to ministry, passionately serving communities and impacting lives through his unwavering commitment to faith, leadership, and advocacy. His preaching ministry began in January 2013 at Lovely Baptist Church, under the leadership of his grandfather, Pastor Wilbert Crew. During his time there, Kevin served in various roles, starting as a Youth Leader and later becoming an Associate Minister. His leadership and innovative spirit became particularly evident during the COVID-19 pandemic when he stepped up to guide the church with creativity and strategic vision. While leading during the pandemic, Kevin implemented virtual worship experiences, ensuring members could stay connected to their faith despite physical distancing. He also prioritized outreach efforts, partnering with Philadelphia officials, nonprofit organizations, and mental health professionals to address the emotional and spiritual needs of the community. By emphasizing mental health awareness and support, Kevin demonstrated his commitment to holistic ministry that goes beyond the pulpit. Kevin is known for his high-energy presence, infectious positivity, and genuine love for people. His passion for preaching, teaching, and outreach is matched only by his role as an unapologetic advocate for mental health. Whether delivering a sermon, engaging with community members, or brainstorming innovative ministry strategies, Kevin approaches every endeavor with enthusiasm and dedication. In his personal time, Kevin enjoys savoring great food, cheering on his favorite sports teams, and finding humor in life’s moments. Academically, Kevin holds an Associate of Arts degree in Communications from Montgomery County Community College and a Mental Health First Aid certification. He has also attended classes at Palmer Theological Seminary, further equipping him for his pastoral work. Kevin currently serves in pastoral ministry in the Philadelphia area and lends his expertise to several nonprofit organizations as a member of their boards of directors. These organizations focus on social impact, aligning with Kevin’s mission to serve and uplift others.
